As part of its commitment to supporting human resources development in the field of animal health, Medion once again organized a joint visit for veterinary medicine students from various universities across Indonesia on June 29, 2026. The event, held in Cimareme, Padalarang, Bandung, was attended by students from Bogor Agricultural University (Institut Pertanian Bogor), Gadjah Mada University (Universitas Gadjah Mada), Brawijaya University (Universitas Brawijaya), Airlangga University (Universitas Airlangga), and Padjadjaran University (Universitas Padjajaran).
The event began with a company profile presentation delivered by Medion’s Human Resources Team, followed by a studium generale titled “Medion’s Strategic Steps Towards the Development of Indonesia’s Livestock Industry,” presented by drh. Muhammad Eko Wahyu Hidayat. Participants also received a presentation on pharmaceutical products from Pharmacist Bambang Irawan, M.Si., as well as a presentation on biological products delivered by Pharmacist Agung Setiawan Yahya, S.Farm., and Dr. Wahyu Haryanto.
In addition to the presentation sessions, participants had the opportunity to join a plant tour of the Animal Health Research Center building and Medion’s pharmaceutical production facilities. The event also featured a Campus Talk session with Medion alumni, who are now working at Medion and their experiences regarding their career journeys, challenges in the workplace, and opportunities for continuous learning and growth in a professional environment. This session provided both inspiration and a realistic glimpse into the transition from academia to the industry.
Encouraged by the participants’ enthusiasm and positive feedback, Medion hopes this event will continue to serve as a platform for collaboration with universities in preparing highly qualified human resources who are ready to enter the workforce.
Medion is committed to continuing to offer educational programs to nurture a generation of competent, competitive professionals who will contribute to Indonesia’s progress.
