PT Medion Farma Jaya has successfully achieved the Cara Pembuatan Obat Ikan yang Baik (CPOIB) certification, Indonesia’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard for fish medicine, for the scope of Natural Fish Medicine, achieving the highest rating, P1 (Level One). The certification was granted by the Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan following the completion of an audit conducted on 20 January 2026.
The audit was carried out by the auditor team from BPPMHKP Pusat Jakarta, represented by Mr. Endro Aribowo, and BPPMHKP Bandung, represented by Mr. Isep Wahyudin and Ms. Andriani D. Efendi. The comprehensive on site assessment covered raw material control, production processes, quality control laboratory operations, quality management systems, and standard operating procedures.
The CPOIB certification was pursued in response to growing customer demand for natural fish medicinal products. This achievement demonstrates Medion’s strong commitment to consistently implementing government regulated GMP standards to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance. Moving forward, Medion remains dedicated to continuous innovation and to supporting government initiatives in addressing antimicrobial resistance through the development of natural based aquaculture health solutions.
